LEGS is a registered charity in England & Wales, no. 1177659. Our mission is to create an active and empowered community for people with neurological conditions, through exercise, peer support and education.

If you continue to browse www.legs.org.uk you are agreeing to these Terms of Use. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

 4. Age restrictions 

 

If you are under 16, please get permission from a parent or guardian before submitting any personal information or posting content.

Content on this website is for general information only. It is not medical advice and should not replace consultation with a qualified health professional. Always seek professional guidance before starting any new exercise or rehabilitation programme. 

 

 6. Content ownership & copyright complaints 

 

Unless stated otherwise, everything on the website (text, photos, videos, graphics) is owned by LEGS. You may print or download one copy for personal, non‑commercial use if you credit us. For any other use, please request permission at info@legs.org.uk. If you think we’ve used your work by mistake please email the same address with details, we’ll investigate and, if needed, remove the material immediately. 

 

 7. Acceptable behaviour 

 

Keep comments and uploads respectful, lawful and spam‑free. We may edit or delete content or block access without notice if it breaches these rules. 

 

 8. External links 

 

We sometimes link to other websites. We don’t control their content or privacy practices and can’t accept responsibility for them. 

 

 9. Accuracy of information 

 

We work hard to keep information up‑to‑date, but we can’t guarantee it’s always perfect (dates change, typos happen). Use information at your own risk and tell us about errors at info@legs.org.uk

 

 10. Security & viruses 

 

We don’t guarantee the website will be free from bugs or viruses. Please use your own virus protection. You must not knowingly introduce malware, try to gain unauthorised access, or attack our site. 

 

 11. Accessibility 

 

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards though we recognise we are not fully compliant at the time of writing (July 2025). We are working systematically to improve our site. If you spot a problem, please email us at info@legs.org.uk and we’ll fix it. 

 

 12. Liability limits 

 

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited. Otherwise, we’re not liable for any loss or damage (direct, indirect or consequential) arising from your use of the website. 

 

 13. Indemnity 

 

If your unlawful use of the website causes LEGS to face a claim, cost or damage, you agree to reimburse us in full. 

 

 14. Force majeure 

 

We aren’t responsible for failure to meet these Terms if it’s due to events beyond our reasonable control (for example: natural disasters, power outages, pandemics). 

 

 15. Changes to these Terms 

 

We may update these Terms from time to time. Major changes will be highlighted on the website. Keep using the site after the change date and you are accepting the new Terms. 

 

 16. Governing law & jurisdiction 

 

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes will be decided only by the courts of England & Wales.
