What topics do we discuss?
-
The weekly topics of the Neuro Café vary.
-
Participants tell us what topics they would like us to discuss.
-
Topics include blood pressure, healthy eating, aqua aerobics, travelling, volunteering and fatigue.
-
We also try different activities such as arts and crafts, relaxation techniques, art therapy and Tai Chi.
-
We invite external speakers such as InterAct Stroke Support who read poetry, short stories and host quizzes.
-
We sometimes run monthly challenges such as taking photos on a theme. Members use our LEGS Social WhatsApp group to share interesting stories, photos and to stay in touch.
