Headway

Masses of resources and a support database for people who have had a brain injury. 

Age UK (Kensington & Chelsea Walking Support)

Providers of walking supporter volunteers, offering weekly one-to-one support for 12 weeks. They are experienced volunteers over the age of 50 who can help an older person to rebuild their confidence, and assist them in achieving their goals 

InterAct

By using professional actors to deliver a stimulating and rich variety of reading material specially selected to suit the needs of stroke patients, InterAct works to stimulate memory, language, and lift spirits.

ARNI (Action for Rehabilitation from Neurological Injury) Institute

A fantastic charity with over 160 accredited instructors spread across the UK who support stroke survivors with retraining via functional task practice, physical coping strategies & stroke specific resistance training.

Neuro Rehab Times

A quarterly publication which covers neuro-rehabilitation from every angle. It informs and inspires professionals from all disciplines involved with brain injury; as well as spinal injuries, stroke and neurological conditions. Available for free online.

Life After Stroke
