Our services

  • Our services (face to face and online exercise and discussion sessions) are performed by qualified, registered and insured professionals who work within their defined scope of practice as dictated by their relevant UK governing body.  The focus of the service is agreed ahead of time between LEGS and the participant.

  • Payment for sessions must be made in advance of the session. This can be in the form of a bank transfer or standing order.

  • When you have paid for a monthly membership or block of classes, you are considered a member of LEGS. This means that you have access to our WhatsApp group support, our Members' Area on the website and our weekly education and peer support session (the Neuro Café).

  • Our classes are kept small so that each member receives individualised exercise prescription and advice.

  • We set a maximum capacity for each class which means that your place is protected for as long as you are eligible for the class(es) and have paid for the place(s).

  • We have two types of classes: those that run on an ongoing, weekly basis and those which are designed as blocks of 10 classes. For both of these options, you have an allocated place within your exercise class(es).

  • To pause (or freeze) your membership, and keep your allocated place, there is a fee of £10 per month per class.

  • To freeze your membership, you must agree this in advance with your physiotherapist.

  • If you leave your membership, your space in the class(es) you attended will not be reserved and will be given to somebody on the waiting list. You are welcome to rejoin LEGS when a place becomes available, subject to an assessment.

Session cancellations

  • We do not offer refunds for sessions missed due to short term illness, appointments or personal reasons.

  • For periods of long term illness or pre booked holiday you can freeze your membership for a fee (see above). This holds your place in the group  This will be considered on a case by case basis.

  • On rare occasions, we have to cancel classes due to staff illness. When this happens, the class is not rescheduled or refunded. You may be able to join another class in the same week if there are spaces available.
