Legacy Giving

Are you considering leaving a bequest in your Will to LEGS? Perhaps you have benefited from LEGS directly or you care for somebody who does. Providing for family and friends will of course be your first priority when drawing up your Will but if you decide, after providing for your loved ones, that you can also help LEGS to continue its work, please be assured that any gift, no matter the size, will have a real impact on somebody else's life. As a small charity we rely almost entirely on individual donations.

If you would like to leave a gift in your Will to LGES, we strongly recommend you speak to a solicitor to ensure your wishes can be carried out as you intend.

An example of wording you could use:

I leave _____________ to LEGS (Local Exercise Groups for Stroke and neurological conditions), c/o First Floor, 34 Brook Street, London, W1K 5DN, registered charity number 1177659 (England and Wales), absolutely for its general charitable purposes and I declare that the receipt of the treasurer or other proper officer for the time being shall be a sufficient discharge to my executors.

Leaving a gift in your Will is a very personal and important decision. If you would like to discuss any aspect of your gift, please contact us and we will be more than happy to help.

If you have remembered LEGS in your Will, we would love to hear from you so that we can thank you properly.
